I’ll keep it short.

My only direct webshop update of the year is right around the corner, with a fresh and varied batch of tiny bowls and tiny plates.

As a bonus, there a few other special pieces that I have been saving for this moment.

Brand new in the shop are flat cards (with envelopes) featuring some tiny plate favorites, plus a ‘peace’ card and a calligraphic card.

Please note: In appreciation of your support, you are receiving advance notice of this online sale, but items in your shopping cart do remain available to others until purchased, so checking out quickly to avoid missing your chance is suggested.

Orders will be packed on Tuesday and shipped via USPS on Wednesday, December 11.

Then it’s time for a deep breath. I’ve already bought my old-fashioned pencil-and-paper planner for the year ahead, and I have at the ready a couple of new ‘Daruma cards’ (see below) for future goals.

My annual major cleaning of home and studio begins the third week of December, and then several winter projects will commence, namely returning to work on tessellations and making some larger pieces for the new wood-kiln - when that time comes.

each one is a flat card on watercolor paper with an envelope, printed in house by Spicer Digital.

UPDATE ON KILN CONSTRUCTION

we spent an afternoon in mid-November enclosing the work area with tarps to create a warmer space, and every night an electric blanket keeps the newly set bricks from freezing
